24-Hour Document Drop Boxes
Many Motor Vehicle and Recording services can be completed using ourred document drop boxes, located outsideevery one of our branch offices.Boxes are secure, accessible 24 hours a day, and requests are processed more quickly than mail orders.
Please note:Payments for drop box transactions mayonly be made by check or money order.
Motor Vehicleservices:
- Vehicle registration renewals
- Duplicate document requests
- Disability placardrequest/renewal*
- Proof of insurance documents(these may also be emailed)
- Temp tags (please emailclerk@arapahoegov.com with your VIN and proof of insurance for a quote of taxes due)
All Motor Vehicle submissions must include the following information:
- Owner Name
- Phone numberand/oremail address
- Proof of current insurance
- Last eight (8) digits of the vehicle VIN

Including this information on a letter accompanying your documents will allow a faster processing of your transaction, and allow you the choice of having them mailed or picked up at the office.

Priority Service
Active military service members and first responders with ID receive priority service at our four branch offices.
