How Old Do I Have To Be To Get A Tattoo In Singapore?
You have to be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo. However if you are below the age of 18, we can tattoo you with your parent’s consent, they have to be present while you are getting tattooed.

No, sorry we only do real ones.
Do You Do White Ink Tattoos?
Yes, however we do not guarantee the quality of white ink tattoos as they have the potential to turn yellow &/or cause the appearance of scarring upon healing.
Do You Do Cover-Ups & Touch-Ups
We will be happy to look at your existing tattoo and give advice on what can be done. Remember, though, that the darker and bolder the existing tattoo, the more difficult it is to cover up. Your new cover-up tattoo will be bigger than the original one. We may advise some tattoos to be lasered & lightened first for best results.
Touch-ups for tattoos done at INKVASION Tattoo Studio will be chargeable at $50 within 6 months. Touch-up for finger and feet tattoos will cost $50-$100.
Most tattoos do not require touch-ups, however every skin absorbs the ink and heals differently. Extremely fine line tattoos and light watercolor tattoos are more likely to require touch-up as compared to bolder tattoos. Certain placements such as, fingers, hands, feet, wrists, palms, ears, back of ear are more likely to fade during the first few weeks of healing and may need touch ups to stay. Each touch up is chargeable so do take note that some tattoos may be higher maintenance.
The touch-up fee will be FORFEITED if the touch-up appointment is cancelled, late for more than 15minutes or if you do not show up. You may reschedule only ONCE with at least 72 HOURS notice before the appointment date.

How Do I Choose A Tattoo Design?
For those that just KNOW what they want, it’s easy. For the rest, it can be a long process. Do some research & save images of tattoos you like. If you have a rough idea of what you want, our team of artists can help you design a custom piece tailored to your needs.
Is Getting A Tattoo Painful?
Yes, but it is bearable. We have have a painless option for permanent tattoos at extra cost. We recommend the painless option only for smaller tattoos. Please contact us for a discussion on the pros & cons.
How Much Will My Tattoo Cost?
Tattoos are charged either by the piece or per session. Large pieces that cannot be completed within a day will be charged by session. Unlike some other studios, we charge foreigners & locals the same price.
Our minimum tattoo charge is S$150.
An A4 size tattoo would costs at leastS$600 onwards.
Numbing Cream is optional & costsS$100. Itwill take an additional hour.

How Do Deposits And Design Fees Work?
We will need to collect deposit to secure an appointment with our artists. (Minimum deposit is S$100) All deposits are strictly non-refundable and will be forfeited if the appointment is cancelled, if you do not show up or if you are more than 20 minutes late. No exceptions. You may reschedule only ONCE with at least 72 HOURS notice before the appointment date. Last minute rescheduling will result in a loss of deposit. The deposit is NON TRANSFERABLE and can only be used for the agreed upon design. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the tattoo at the last session or when the tattoo is completed.
Is It Safe?
You can rest assured that all tattoos from Inkvasion Tattoo Studio will be done with one-time use only equipment and we autoclave all non-disposable equipment. We only use top of the line brands of tattoo inks that are vegan friendly and rich in colour pigments to deliver luminous and intense colour tattoos. And the latest state of the art renowned brand tattoo machines. All of our supplies come from reputable manufacturers and we make sure they are used well before their expiration dates.
How Should I Prepare For My Tattoo Session?
Don’t drink alcohol or take any medication that will thin out your blood 24 hours before your tattoo. Eat a full meal & you may want to bring a sweet drink with you as raising your blood sugar level will make you feel better during the tattoo.
How Do I Care For My New Tattoo?
-Please remove the wrap after 2 hours. If there is blood/plasma, rinse the tattoo with water and gently pat dry.
-After a few days your tattoo will start to flake & peel it is crucial that you do not peel off the dead skin by force.
-You may start applying a very thin layer of unscented moisturizer or tattoo aftercare the next day after you get your tattoo.
-It is important that you avoid swimming or soaking the tattoo for at least 3 weeks.
-The tattoo will be healed in around 3-6weeks depending on each individual’s healing speed.

Are UV Blacklight Tattoos Safe?
Black light tattoos are often confused with glow in the dark tattoos. Glow in the dark tattoos contain phosphorous which is a toxic chemical element that is a potentially cancerous compound.
While UV Blacklight tattoos only glow under black light aka ultraviolet (UV) lights, it is safe as long as the ink used does not contain phosphorus. Rest assured that at Inkvasion Tattoo Studio, we only use safe, phosphorus free ink that is Made in the USA.
