has a long-term problem with her mobility. She struggles to walk far due to pain, and sometimes
is unsteady on her feet. She is on many medications, including ones to lower her blood pressure

smoker, smoking about 1 packet of cigarettes per day. Lately she has become a bit forgetful and
has not been taking as much care of herself.

b. Explain 2 interventions to reduce the risk of fire for this client that you can you report to your
supervisor to address the safety risks you have identified. (4 marks)
