Satay sauce or peanut sauce, is a creamy sauce, rich in taste, and with spicy notes (coriander, cinnamon, star anise...). It is a spicy and aromatic sauce that originated in Southeast Asia, specifically Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. It is often used to accompany grilled meat, chicken or tofu dishes, as well as vegetables and noodles.

The base of satay sauce is usually made from peanut paste, garlic, ginger, chili, soy sauce, palm sugar, lime juice and coconut milk. The sauce can be thickened or thinned depending on preferences and recipes.

How to use satay sauce?
