Please note, all pets surrendered to Animal Care & Control must be current on vaccinations (this is for the health and safety of the pet).

Proof of vaccinations is required. Volunteers are needed for the sixth annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption Event presented by the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation. The event will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the air-conditioned East Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach.

This is the area’s largest local pet adoption event and will feature hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, birds and more seeking new families and homes. Admission and parking are free.

Organized by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, the Countdown 2 Zero Adoption Event is a collaborative effort of over 20 local animal rescue organizations to save the lives of animals in Palm Beach County.
