Kristin Cavallari is soaking up as much summer sun as she can. The Laguna Beach alum and mom of three, 36, shared snaps from a recent trip to Miami with her BFF Justin Anderson on Instagram, and it was filled with ~plenty~ of pool time. Kristin rocked a pale yellow bikini that showed off her literal six-pack abs and super strong legs.
"I love Miami," she captioned the post. And her followers certainly wasted no time at all in showing their love on the post. RHONJ's Melissa Gorga commented, "Hotties 🔥🔥," while former RHOC cast member Lizzie Rovesk wrote, "Gorgeous girl ♥️." Her teeny yellow bikini got plenty of attention, too. "Love yellow on you 💛," one person wrote, while another commented, "Love your bathing suit!"
If you're dying to know more about this star's workout routines, Women's Health has you covered. Thankfully, Kristin shares a lot of insights on her IG. Case in point: During a recent trip to New York, Kristin shared a snap from a Rise Nation class (which involves climbing on a VersaClimber) that she attended while in the Big Apple.
Kristin opened up to Us Weekly last year that she had put on healthy weight as she started building muscle with the help of her personal trainer, Kevin Klug. Her trainer even helped Kristin achieve a new deadlifting PR of four sets of five reps of 155 pounds last year. YGG!!
“I’ve put on a lot of weight in the last few years, but in a good way," she shared. "I didn’t realize it at the time, how thin I was. So I’m happy that I’ve put on weight. He kicks my ass. He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”
Klug told Shape that the two work out three days a week together. "We make sure we start every session trying to develop power by working in the one to five rep range by using fast twitch movements, such as plyometrics, medicine ball tosses, and sprints. This prepares her body to get ready to move heavier weight than what she is used to lifting."
Kristin is also a major foodie, and one of her passions is cooking for herself and her fam (and she has two cookbooks!).
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Kristin shared everything she eats in a day, which includes coffee, homemade veggie and fruit juice, and a breakfast of gluten-free crepes or an egg bowl with arugula, goat cheese, avocado, and cherry tomatoes. Other mornings, she might opt for a smoothie. Lunch is generally a protein-filled salad with homemade dressing, followed by an afternoon snack of beef jerky or hummus and carrots.
For dinner Kristin will whip up everything from poke bowls to Mexican pizza. And she never skips dessert: it's usually a piece of chocolate or ice cream.
YUM! I love it, Kristin!
