Please refer to the product labels for details on product specific questions. None of our sauces, pickles, spice pastes, chutneys and pappadums use gluten-containing ingredients.
The spice mixes vary depending on the product. The spice mixes on our products may contain inn varying proportions: Asafoetida, Cardamom, Chilli (Capsicum annuum), Cinnamon, Clove, Coriander (Cilantro), Cumin, Curry Leaf, Fennel, Fenugreek, Ginger, Mustard (Allergen), Nutmeg, Paprika, Pepper (Black), Star Anise, Turmeric.
* Mustard is considered a priority food allergen byHealth Canada, and is indicated on packaging.
Patak’s®has a great range of products that are suitable for vegetarians, but please refer to the product information on the label.
Patak’s®products use Rapeseed oil rather than Palm oil.
Most of our products do not contain artificial flavours, colours or preservatives; however, please refer to the label of each product for full details.
Before being opened, Patak’s® Cooking Sauces should be stored at room temperature, but once opened the product should be used immediately. If the spare sauce is transferred into a clean plastic food-container with a sealable lid it may be stored for 24 hours in the fridge before following original label’s cooking instructions.
Once the Patak’s®product has been cooked up in accordance with the label cooking instructions, the meal can be frozen. Please refer to the manufacturer of your freezer for instructions and storage duration.
No. It is important that the product is not consumed uncooked; this is because Patak’s®pastes are made with some unprocessed spices.
Garlic is an essential ingredient in our range of sauces and pastes. But please refer to label for full list of ingredients.
All Patak’s®Cooking Sauces contain onion, as well as many of our Spice Pastes.
