What makes Equinox gym so special? ›

All classes at Equinox are created and developed by the industry's best minds and taught by talented fitness instructors who test your limits and inspire results. Every class is booked in advance and complimentary to you as a member.

All-Access Membership ($315): Moving up in price, this guarantees you access to over 80 clubs across the US and Canada, including your selected location. The All-Access Equinox membership is generally priced at $315 per month, with the exception of the larger Equinox Sports Clubs, which are more expensive.

The highest-priced tier, typically $405 per month, includes worldwide club access. It's important to note that each monthly membership price assumes a 12-month commitment. All perks are the same; the only difference is the number of locations a member can access.

How do I cancel my membership? You may cancel in club with a club manager, via registered or certified mail, or via email at Cancellations@Equinox.com. However, if you are going on an extended vacation or unable to use the club for a brief period, we recommend that you freeze your membership, instead of cancelling.

This upscale fitness club makes headlines for its racy ad campaigns—#equinoxmademedoit—and its celebrity clientele (think Bradley Cooper, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Kidman and Gerard Butler).

American Express Platinum cardmembers receive an Equinox statement credit of up to $300 per calendar year. Enrollment is required and subject to auto-renewal.

If you want to go to multiple Equinox locations in the US, an "all access" membership runs $3,120 a year. But that still won't get you in to the most luxurious locations in the city — to get into those, you need a "destination" membership that grants you access to all locations worldwide, which costs $3,600 a year.

The price of all these workout classes are INCLUDED in your membership, so they are all “free”. Workout classes in NYC are typically around $25–35 per session, so this makes the Equinox membership very appealing to someone who enjoys going to these classes.

To take advantage of the Harvard Club membership rates at Equinox, you must be a Harvard Club member at the Regular Member Tier (only $60) or above. Harvard Club members will receive a waived initiation fee, reduced monthly rates, free three day trials, a complementary training session, and more.

There are only two times of the year when the Earth's axis is tilted neither toward nor away from the sun, resulting in a "nearly" equal amount of daylight and darkness at all latitudes. These events are referred to as Equinoxes.

During the equinox the day and night are of the same length, 12 hours, all over the world. This is because on the two equinoxes, the tilt of the Earth's axis is perpendicular to the Sun's rays, while on any other day of the year, either the Southern Hemisphere or the Northern Hemisphere tilts a little towards the Sun.

Except for permitted Sub-Accounts (see Section 1.5 of the Additional Terms: Service Memberships and Purchases), you may not allow your Account to be used by any other person.

Like all contracts, gym membership contracts create a binding agreement between you and the gym, which lasts until the contract ends. The gym might be able to sue you to collect its membership fees if you stop paying before you are legally allowed to.
