1. Scatter hair clippings.

2. Plant repelling flowers.
It is believed that rabbits detest the scent of both alyssum and marigolds can keep rabbits away from your plants. Plant these flowers around the borders where rabbits would typically enter into the space. Here are some more plants that repel rabbits.
3. Scatter snakes.
Not real ones of course, but fake! Get some rubber snakes from the dollar store and scatter them into the garden. Rabbits don’t care for snakes and will hopefully hop into another yard. Just don’t forget you added the snakes and give yourself a scare.
4. Make a little noise.
Place a wind chime or some cans on a string so that when the wind blows there is noise made. Rabbits are sensitive to noise and should they hear even the slightest sound will run. This might even scare them from coming back.
5. Don’t provide cover.
Keep your garden a wide open space. Do not have areas in the garden where rabbits can hide (such as woodpiles) as this makes them feel safe and more welcome. Keep the space open so they won’t look at it as inviting.
6. Use chicken wire.
Chicken wire is a cheap and effective way to guard your plants. Just wrap the chicken wire around the garden to act as a fencing and protect what is inside. 7. Protect plants with netting.
One final solution may be to use netting to protect your plants. Rabbits chewed through the plastic netting. It’s not attractive but I had to make chicken wire tunnels to cover my zinnias until they got big enough to survive. I also had to attach a solar scarey cat to the garden to use at night. Then I had to get a motion detector water sprayer to protect my tomatoes. Now I’m going to try the DIY spray. Rabbits are digging holes and having babies in our backyard constantly this season. My dog is a spaniel and runs them down and hurts them. I can’t stand it. Why do they pick my yard when the neighbors do not have dogs?

The rabbit population is getting out of control and there has to be something to keep them away. I have tried many of the commercial products with so-so results but just yesterday a female rabbit made a nest and delivered five babies in broad daylight with four other adult rabbits watching.(WTF, am I running a Maternity Ward for rabbits?). I spend alot on lawn care and will not be dealing with these pesky varmits and if I have to will find a poison or a pellet gun to chase them away. Tired of all the deep holes they dig right in the middle of my yard.

Go to dollar store and get jars of minced garlic. Place spoonful at entrance to their tunnels. Tgey also are repelled by peppermint.

What can I do for rabbit taking over the neighborhood! I would like to not kill them. Just don’t want them in my yard! Omg help

i have a couple ferrets and placing some of their bedding material or poop in plastic containers around the garden seems to work the best
