Safety is important in any aspect of life, but almost nowhere is it more important than when you are behind the wheel of a car. So here are five simple safety musts that you should know, but might have forgotten about.
1. using your indicators
One of the most essential, yet most often neglected safe driving practices is the use of indicators. Defensive drivers allow other cars on the road to maneuver safely whenever they need to, but in order to do that, they need to be able to know when it will happen. Indicators are what prevent accidents from happening. It is also important to turn on your hazards when you are pulled over.

3. checking your blind spot
Cars are awesome, but unfortunately they have a tiny design flaw that means that you have a blind spot while driving. And other drivers just love to hang out there. Save some lives and check that blind spot once in awhile.
