5 Easy Dipping Sauce Recipes for Your Next Party:

Our family will always take advantage of any opportunity to get together with friends and gameday is a perfect reason.

Food, fun and watching the game with friends on a big-screen TV(no matter which team we’re rooting for) beats out actual tailgating in the extreme Texas weather any day.

Favorite Finger Foods for Dipping

When we host a Homegating party, we have a few staple foods that always appear on the menu. Queso and chips, burgers and brats, and of course a selection of easy finger-food sized snacks. And all those yummy finger foods need dipping sauces!

Mozzarella Sticks, Jalapeno Poppers, Meatballs, Chicken Rollups, Potato Skins, Fries, Wings… You name, we love it! All of these finger snacks are great on their own, but are so much better with an amazing dipping sauce!

Why You Need These Dipping Sauces in Your Life:

There’s not that’s much better than a hot and cheesy Mozzarella Stick. (ok, except for maybe jalapeno poppers.)Sure, you can toss together some ranch dressing and yogurt and call it a day, but for the ultimate game day spread you need a little variety in your dipping sauces.

  • Honey Mustard
  • Chipotle Aioli
  • Yum Yum Sauce
  • Avocado Ranch
  • Marinara

Any one of these quick sauces will elevate your appetizer tray!

Kitchen Tools Needed

The best part is these 5 dipping sauce recipes is that they are super simple to make and a few of them can be made with just a fork! (Like the Avocado Ranch or Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce.

But if you’re going to be making any of these simple sauces in bulk, I recommend using a more powerful kitchen tool. (Plus you definitely need a power chopper to dice the chipotle peppers in the Chipotle Aioli.)

You can use a blender, nutri ninja, or my new favorite toy – my mini Cuisinart chopper and have all these dipping sauces ready to go in just about 5 minutes. (See the chopper in action here on QVC, where you get 2 bowls, or here from Bed Bath and Beyond, where it is slightly less $$, but only get one bowl. Can you tell I love this thing, lol?)

What is the best dipping sauce?

That is a difficult question to answer as it depends on your tastes and what you are dipping.

My favorite from the list below is the Chipotle Aioli, but I think the best all-around dipping sauce is the Yum Yum sauce.

It has the most ingredients of all the dipping sauces in this list, but it tastes great with almost everything and it doubles as a topping for burgers, salad dressings, chicken, and even goes well with seafood like shrimp or sushi!
