There are times when you’re celebrating big, so you're willing to spring for an expensive champagne. But what if you want a little bubbly to freeze, spike mimosas with, or to pour into a champagne tower? Trader Joe's to the rescue! Trader Joe's champagne has expanded waaaay beyond 'Two-Buck Chuck' to include French champagne and other sparkling white wines produced using the Champagne method, which are *way* less expensive.
Time to pop some tags – no – corks! Here are some of the best Trader Joe's champagnes you can snag on a bargain... ones that even your wine snob friends will love.
Simpler Wine Italian Wine co*cktail
We're kind of obsessed with these little guys, which hold a little over a glass of wine in each $1 can. We love the mango flavor, with hints of fruit and a fizzy finish. Bring these to any BYOB situation, and you're sure to be a hit.
French Fizz Le Blanc 2021
This French sparkling wine, made with a blend of grapes, has a light body with a dry, crisp, and citrusy taste. Plus, the bottle looks so fancy! It also comes in a tasty rosé version.
Brut Rosé French Sparkling Wine
We can’t get enough of this pink Italian sparkler. When summer rolls around, be sure to stock up on these reasonably priced ($7!) bottles.
Opaline Pinot Noir Brut Rosé
This bottle has the delicate flavors of red fruits like strawberry and raspberry, and it bubbles just like a much more expensive option would. You essentially get the taste you love without the price tag!
Trader Joe's Reserve Brut Rosé
Also fermented in the traditional méthode champenoise, this North Coast Californian bubbly has hints of strawberry and a clean, dry finish. It's a flawless upgrade to your basic brunch mimosas!
Villa Antica Asolo Prosecco DOCG Superiore
Prosecco is a dry Italian sparkling wine that starts with different grapes than champagne and undergoes an entirely different fermentation process. (Champagne goes through a second fermentation in the bottle to achieve all of those bubbles and rich texture, while prosecco's second fermentation happens in large vats, which is why it's so affordable.) This prosecco has a clean mouthfeel, bright, bubbles, and a melon-forward flavor. (Photo via Trader Joe's)
Platinum Reserve Brut Sparkling Wine Sonoma County
This medium-bodied brut hints of apple and pear, plus a light gingery spice. It's easy sipping, so you don't have to save it for a special occasion — today will do! Cheers!
La Burgondie Crémant de Bourgogne
Made up of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay, and Aligotè grapes, this sparkling bev has notes of citrus and red apple with a dash of gingerbread spice.

Make This Gluten-Free Lemon Olive Oil Cake For a Tummy-Friendly Treat
Maggie McCracken
Mar 15, 2024
If you have digestive issues and need to avoid gluten for any reason, your dessert options can sometimes feel limiting. But when it comes to gluten-free desserts, this insanely delicious Lemon Olive Cake takes the, uh, cake. It’s richly flavored and totally satisfying, but also lightly sweet and airy.
The best part about this gut-friendly recipe? It's made with just twelve ingredients! Created by dietician Desiree Nielsen for her cookbook Good For Your Gut, this recipe delivers a healthy dose of protein and fiber while also being irresistibly yummy.
Good For Your Gut
Ingredients:
- Coconut or olive oil, for greasing the pan
- Zest and juice of 2 lemons
- 1 can (14 ounces/398 mL) white beans, rinsed and drained
- ⅔ cup (150 mL) pure maple syrup
- ½ cup (125 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) unsweetened oat or soy milk
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) pure vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon (1 mL) almond extract
- 2½ cups (625 mL) almond flour
- ½ cup (125 mL) gluten-free all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup (60 mL) ground flaxseed
- 2 teaspoons (10 mL) baking powder
- ½ teaspoon (2 mL) salt
Good For Your Gut
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease an 8-inch (1.2 L) round cake pan with coconut oil. Line the bottom of the pan with a circle of parchment paper.
- In a high-speed blender, add the lemon zest, lemon juice, white beans, maple syrup, olive oil, oat milk, vanilla, and almond extract. Purée until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, all-purpose flour, flaxseed, baking powder, and salt. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to blend. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45 minutes, until the cake is lightly golden on top and a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. A bit of cracking is normal. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Invert the pan over a plate and tap the bottom to dislodge the cake. Transfer the cake to a rack to cool completely before slicing. Store loosely covered on the counter for up to 4 days.

I'm not going to lie, I've eaten a lot of avocado pasta over the years. I discovered it during a time when I was trying out the Mediterranean Diet, and it quickly became a go-to weeknight dinner option for me. Because it's made with avocado, it's creamy, rich, and delicious — but also super nutritious. There's a reason it's become such a beloved recipe for anyone who wants to eat wholesome, delicious pasta recipes but also wants a good dose of nutrients.
Before we dive into the recipe, here are a few reminders about why avocados are so good for you: First, avocados are chock-full of healthy fats, mostly of the monounsaturated variety. These fats are great for your heart health and can help keep your cholesterol levels in check. Plus, they give your skin that fabulous glow we all crave! Avocados are also bursting with fiber, which is fantastic for your digestive system. It keeps things moving along smoothly and helps you feel fuller for longer, making it a perfect addition to any meal.
As for the vitamins and minerals, avocados are loaded with potassium, which is essential for maintaining healthy blood pressure levels and keeping your muscles functioning properly. They're also packed with vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as folate, all of which are vital for overall health and well-being.
In short, avocados are a nutritional powerhouse that can do wonders for your body. Cheers to good health and avocados aplenty, and try this easy avocado pasta recipe the next time you want a meal that's creamy, carby, nutritious, and comforting (so, pretty much any day).

The Eras Tour Concert Film Is Now Streaming!
Chloe Williams
Mar 15, 2024
Taylor Swift's Midnights era has been unlike anything Swifties have seen before. We've watched the Eras Tour on TikTok, kept up with all the surprise songs, and scrambled for last-minute tickets. And this fall, we get to experience the concert in a whole new way because it's coming to streaming!
After you check out our official Taylor Swift album ranking and figure out what your new Eras Tour look will be (as well as getting all the Reputation (Taylor's Version) and The Tortured Poets Department tea), read up on everything you need to know about the release and how it's shaping up to be one of the best 2024 movies.
Is the Eras Tour movie on streaming?
The Eras Tour Concert Film is available to stream on Disney+ (with your subscription) starting March 15. In an Instagram caption, Taylor told us that this will be the full concert, including "cardigan" and 4 acoustic set songs. And to nobody's surprise, she's got a new little name for the film — Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version).
The concert film was previously available to rent on demand December 13, which is also Taylor's birthday! The film included everything you saw in theaters *plus* songs that didn't make the original cut, like “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer,” and “Long Live.”
Is the Eras Tour Concert Film nominated for any awards?
Yes, the Eras Tour movie has a Golden Globe nomination! Thanks to a new category at the awards show, Cinematic and Box Office Achievement (in which the movie made over $100M in the US and $150M globally), movies that could otherwise be overlooked have the chance to win.
Is there gonna be a movie of The Eras Tour?
TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR Concert Film Official Trailer
Yes, there will be an Eras Tour movie! On August 31, Taylor Swift announced that the tour would be coming to the big screen. "The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon," she says in an Instagram post. "Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged 🫶"
This isn't the first time one of her tours has been professionally recorded — you can also watch the Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix!
Could the Taylor Swift Eras Tour Movie do even better than Barbie?
It seems like it! Right now, Deadline projects that the Eras Tour concert film will sell out more theaters than Barbie and could even surpass the record that is currently being held by Spider-Man: No Way Home. It has been reported that Swift's movie has sold out 1/3 of all of the slots it holds for opening weekend. If this isn't proof that we need more movies for women by women, I don't know what is!
When is theEras Tour Concert Film coming to theaters?
The concert film hit theaters on October 12!

— Pop Base (@PopBase) October 12, 2023
The premiere for the concert film ended up being a star-studded event! The most exciting attendee in our opinion was Beyoncé, who showed up to support Taylor at the premiere. Between the Renaissance Tour and the Eras Tour, these two women have offered so much joy and excitement this summer.
"I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence," Taylor says in an Instagram post. "The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale."
From artists she's featured on her rerecorded albums to celebs who attended the Eras Tour, here's every celebrity who showed up to the red carpet:
- Beyoncé
- Mariska Hargitay and her daughter Amaya Hermann
- Becca Tilley and Hayley Kiyoko
- Maren Morris
- Simu Liu and Allison Hsu
- Sam Wrench
- Lexi Simonsen
- Owenn
- Whyley Yoshimura
- Kameron N. Saunders
- Victoria Gerrick
- TETRIS
- Sarah Jeffery
- Shelby Young
- Karamo Brown
- Katie Conway
- Jennifer Meyer
- Molly Sims
- Flavor Flav
- Fortune Feimster
- Violet McGraw
- Jenna Davis
What is Taylor performing on The Eras Tour?
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is nearly a 3-hour show and is full of her top hits (like "Anti-Hero" and "Blank Space") and unexpected songs that fans love (I lost my mind when she started playing "'Tis The Damn Season" at my show!). And every night, she plays two surprise songs that didn't make the setlist. You can keep up with the surprise songs here!
It appears the film has cut out some songs, including (spoiler alert!) "No Body, No Crime," "The Archer," and "Cardigan."
What can I watch The Eras Tour on?
Right now, you can watch various videos of the tour on TikTok. After performing with Sabrina Carpenter in Mexico City, Taylor is taking a break until November. But once the concerts begin again, you can also watch her perform on TikTok live. My friends and I love keeping up with @TessDear's TikTok lives!
